Located near present day McLeay Park, when this 1872 farmhouse was built in NW Portland it overlooked Guild Lake and St. Helens Road, a busy wooden planked road connecting the farms of the Tualatin valley with the Port of Portland.  A historic gem, the 1,100 square foot house features large windows, high ceilings, a charming gabled roof, chamfered columns on porch pedestals and Douglas Fir floors.  After years of use as a rental, the house had fallen into disrepair when C.R. OGILBY & C.O. stepped in and led a community effort to revitalize and renovate the homes.
