With over 25 years in the building restoration and relocation business, C. R. OGILBY & CO. has been involved in relocating some of the Pacific Northwest's most overlooked and treasured structures. Buildings have included late 19th century farmhouses, the historic Conway House in Brownsville, Oregon and a 1914 Arts and Crafts bungalow near Harrisburg, Oregon.                      

All building relocation projects are carefully planned; permits secured, routes determined with local and state agencies, and buildings are carefully prepared for transportation using modern technologies and highly versatile equipment.

Building Relocation

Communities are growing particularly sensitive to maintaining a balance of affordable multi-family and single-family housing within established neighborhoods. Historic and older structures present prime opportunities to rehabilitate buildings so they are economically and socially viable. Doing so requires a commitment to addressing the needs of the community through direct involvement with neighborhood associations, city planners, local and national lending resources, and local businesses.

Grants Lending

Our company specializes in identifying, planning and executing renovations of large and small existing historic structures. Our team includes architects who can perform design development services and structural engineers to evaluate the feasibility of adaptive re-use concepts. Their collective expertise is integral in developing a marketable plan that fits the building requirements as well as community needs.
